Cargo Van Transportation

Fast, flexible capacity for smaller shipments — a few pallets, boxed parts, equipment or time-sensitive packages.

Cargo vans move smaller shipments without the cost and lead time of a larger truck. They’re a practical choice for brokers and shippers moving parts, boxed goods, small equipment and other freight that fits in an enclosed van.

When a cargo van makes sense

  • The freight fits on one or two pallets, or is loose-loaded boxes
  • Weight is within the van’s payload — typically about 2,000–3,500 lbs, depending on the vehicle
  • The shipment is urgent or needs a direct, dedicated vehicle
  • The pickup or delivery location can’t easily take a larger truck

What to include in your request

Pickup and delivery locations with ZIP codes, dates, piece count, weight, dimensions, and any loading notes such as dock access or a required appointment. Accurate dimensions let us confirm the freight fits before a vehicle is dispatched.

Frequently asked questions

How much fits in a cargo van?

It depends on the van. Standard cargo vans commonly handle one or two standard pallets; share piece count, dimensions and weight and we’ll confirm the fit.

Is a cargo van the same as a Sprinter van?

Not quite. “Sprinter” usually refers to high-roof vans with more height and length. See Sprinter van transportation.
